OUR VISION Shiksha's vision is to impart free education and vocational training underprivileged children and youth. OUR MISSION To ensure all-round development of their personality through academics and vocational training with emphasis on human values, yoga and extracurricular activities, music, dance, sports etc. for their enlightened tomorrow.

About Shiksha Shiksha, a non-profit NGO was founded in early 2003 with a commitment to providing free education and other opportunities to the underprivileged children, who would otherwise be loitering in streets in search of life with attendant risks. Shiksha is registered as an NGO under the Societies act of 1860 registration no. 9285. A humble beginning was made in may 2003 by adopting a government primary school (with strength of 40 students in five different standards being run only with one teacher) in a Harijan Colony at Jharsa village, Gurgaon (now a flourishing IT Hub) in Haryana, India. Shiksha provides free uniforms, books, notebooks and hygienic mid-day meals to all students.
