Within a year Shiksha enrolled 250 students, hired one headmaster, eleven teachers a cook, a guard and a cleaning attendant. Our policy is to have no more than 25 students per class.
The entire building has been repaired, renovated and painted. We have built classrooms, a kitchen, a store, three toilets and a boundary wall. In addition, we have made provisions for a submersible water pump, a drinking water unit, electricity, an underground water tank, tables, benches, uniforms etc...
